I’m getting married tomorrow so my first priority for today is finding Bridal Flip Flops. It took me a long time to commit to this event so lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how important it is to be decisive. That’s one sure sign of a former people pleaser. Those of us who live(d) under the illusion that the way to happiness was to please other people, usually make decisions based on that criterion. And guess what? It’s a mission absolutely impossible. Not only can you not please everyone all the time; it’s actually impossible to please any one person all the time. Living this way is one sure path to interminable frustration.
So, I’m putting together a short (45 minute) FREE teleclass on this topic: Eenie, Meenie, Miny Mo: Make More Excellent Decisions on Tuesday, July 27 at 8 pm. I’m going to share everything I can that I’ve learned on my path from my terror of making a mistake (hence never making decisions) to being clear clear clear almost all the time. I can tell you, it’s much better this way. And the really cool thing is that once you become more decisive, all those people whom you used to try to please, respect you like they never did before.
If you want to sign up, send email with "Decisive" in the subject line to email@example.com.
The main benefit of becoming more decisive is that your confidence multiplies immediately and significantly.
Here’s a brief outline of the class:
1. How I came to be an expert in making decisions.
2. Why it’s so difficult (for some of us) to make decisions.
3. 5 keys to becoming decisive.
4. 3 things you can do NOW to be more decisive.
Hope you’ll join me.
